Thank you for your perspective :) I agree with you! My parents and their siblings all have “dated” names from the 60s but I think all of their names are very nice relative to the time and fit them well. I guess my concern is will it be SO trendy that its all people can think of when they hear the name. For example my name was the #1 name in my state when I was born in the early 90s, but it’s also a classic name thats been used for thousands of years and happened to shoot up in popularity around that time. If someone named their child my name 50 years before or 50 years after me, the 90s wouldn’t be the first thing they think of. I just want to make sure the name we give him will carry through all stages of life and won’t be one he hates when he’s older.
