Repeating the same response — I came here for opinion on a name, not anything else. Anyways, our first child is a boy who I got to name alone, his middle name is my maiden name and my mother’s combined. But as for the last name, I obviously had—and still do—the option to hyphenate both our surnames and pass them down to all of our children, I discussed that with my partner before and he was fully down with it, I just didn’t end up wanting to do so, I preferred to let them carry on with his last name as I do as well. No, I don’t own anyone on here an explanation, I just thought this needs to be out there cause this is a bit ridiculous
