Someone just replied to my earlier question that V was pregnant and had an abortion without her family’s knowledge and when they found out, she attempted suicide. I think we all guessed this but this person shared this info…that’s also why she did not want girl babies too initially (though I can’t rem her saying this).

She got pregnant when she was in college and had to terminate the pregnancy. Only her close friends at the time knew about it at first but unfortunately for her, she caught an infection when she was at her parents' home and had to be taken to the hospital so the parents found out. What other way is there to cover up a blunder this big in a Tamil home other than pretending to attempt suicide? I am not saying it was wrong to abort the baby, to each their own, what she does is up to her and she has the right. Just don't go preaching about self righteousness and how you hate girl babies because you made a mistake. That's uncalled for. I am also not saying the depression was fake. She probably did go through depression after this whole episode.
