I agree to that to an extent. But while saying that I have been personally victim of such doctors/gynaecs. I had terrible terrible periods my whole life and was gaslighted all along that jt was just a bad period. Only after being vvv adamant a gynaec said its pcos. Put me to hormonal therapy for probably 4 years. Which absolutely did nothing for me. Each time she told me lose weight. Literally to a point i had an eating disorder. Still it showed no chanhe in the level of the pain i had in my periods and she literally used to rebuke me for it. Only to realise that i have a stage 3 endometriosis and had to get it surgically removed immediately. A lot of my health issues have only gotten worsened bc of such medical gaslighting.
