The sooner democrats realize that Trump is not going to be impeached the better. The report could show he is implicated in any number of crimes and republicans wouldn’t care. The only value the party has is “if a republican does it, it’s okay”, so they literally do not care what their guy does, and trump is their guy. He could disagree with the top us intelligence agencies in favour of what Russian intelligence told him. Republicans don’t care. He could increase the deficit from $400 billion to ~$1 trillion. Republicans don’t care. He could lock thousands of children is cages with no plans to reunite them with their parents. Republicans don’t care. He could have private one on one meetings with Putin with no record of their conversation. Republicans don’t care. He could start unnecessary trade wars with allies, suppressing economic growth and pretty much destroying the soybean farming industry. Republicans don’t care. He could cozy up to the leaders North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Russia in spite of the being authoritarian shitholes. Republicans don’t care. Republicans will let trump get away with anything, they don’t have the balls to stand up to him on anything, ever. Democrats need to run against his shit record as president. He had control of both houses for two years and only passed one piece of meaningful legislation. He is a shit president. Also keep in mind that even if the report really does “exonerate” him, it still paints his as completely unfit to be president due to his incredibly poor judgement as evidenced by hiring all those criminal aides who were committing crimes under his unwitting nose.
