My stand alone server is running a rather large list and currently has a a very large build on an otherwise new *.db. It sits at 14GB used out of 64GB with no one on.

When my wife and I first started playing, my server was a much more modest machine. With no mods, we were at 6GB used.

My server is a 10400f, just running one instance of Conan and server FPS doesn't always hit 30. Your 3600 is single digit % faster. On the bright side, Conan server is very single thread heavy so I think 6 cores to serve and game should do well.

Currently, in the US at least, a 1TB (Western Digital or Samsung) ssd is the price of a AAA game. ($60-$70)

Maybe you will find performance just fine hosting and playing on that same machine. At worst you lose some bandwidth and time setting it up.
