[Todd] Embiid also told me that he's been impressed by Al Horford this season, he can't really understand what it is that makes him so good. But Embiid said Horford "doesn't take it to that next level" #Sixers

And in a single series a teams opponent is just as important to a teams Drtg as the team itself. That is why I was comparing post season performance to regular season performance. If you want to see how well a team is playing defense in a playoff series the best way to judge is to compare it to how the teams opponent played in the regular season.

Even so, that still misses the point of this conversation. This is about how Embiid's words match up with reality. Reality is, compared to other playoff teams the 76ers haven't done anything so impressive for Embiid to be talking shit. They were able to play good defense against the worst offensive team in the playoffs. That is not note worthy, especially when you consider the Pacers are holding a top 5 regular season offense to offensive numbers that would have ranked the Cavs 30th in the league in the regular season.
