Trainers (info needed)

Ive been around a *lot* of pits. Most with horrific starts to their lives, abuse, neglect. My own girl was a fight dog breeder who was abandoned to starve by the creeps who had her. And she isnt dog aggressive! Although she is leery of other pit females and can be touchy if a dog approaches her when shes eating, shes lived with many foster pits and we have *never* had more than minor spats. Shes been tackled from behind by a toddler at a strip mall who ran up on us, screamed "DOGGIE" and literally full weight jumped on her back end. Know what she did? Spun around in alarm, saw it was a little boy, relaxed, licked his face and playbowed at him.

You need to ditch that trainer asap. Theres plenty of good trainers out there that love pits. A trainer that thinks pits are dangerous and aggressive is setting your dog up for failure and behavioral problems down the line.
