I flipped houses. Opened and sold companies. Made friends. Made money. You are really paid for your time, if you know what you're doing. But it takes sacrifice and 16 hours/day works at first. I had two jobs paying 6 bucks an hour both at first, wife too. School to get masters in engineering. made connections, saved money, bought first house. Sold it for 25 thousand profit. paid student loans , invest some, get better job, buy another house. work my ass of, made 100k profit. get even better job, invest, buy two more houses, flip. buy business. Hire people, sell after a year with huge profit. and so forth. there were times beer was a luxury. was basicly dirt poor for 7 years until 2005. all the money were invested.

My biggest regret was that i did not buy a shitload of bit coin, although I thought about it then, when it was 5000 bitcoin for a pizza. oh well.
