I think it’s a little much to say the Trump-Russia Collusion situation is equivalent to the birther hoax. There WAS evidence, some legitimate (a good chunk of that silly dossier aside,) that warranted the investigations themselves, and some evidence to be examined in the investigations. This all led to the conclusion of innocence, or at a minimum inability to prove guilt (thus, legally speaking, innocence.) In the case of Obama birth certificate, there was never any legitimate evidence. Not even “maybe we should look into this” evidence. Just yet another horrible Frankenstein’s monster of the Clintons, this one originating from Hillary’s 2016 attempt at the presidency,
