I spend more time on Reddit (compared to ig and Twitter) due to the fact that Reddit is sub focused on interests. I like the anonymousity as an escape from friends and family. BUT.. 1) i think the idea that "people on ig/twitter are crazy for likes" is just pretty much the same as hunger for upvotes. 2) there are A LOT of toxic and rude comments here too. I see people argue a lot etc. Its not that different. In fact, ive never experienced or seen friends experiencing toxicity on other social media. I think it all depends 3) im just writing this because i know people who are so insecure they have to be "allergic" or "disgusted" by instagram and twitter and i just think thats stupid.
