What's something you really want, but cant afford?

No, not really, sorry. Karma is worthless. I’m disillusioned with the site as a whole and I just find it kinda funny how when some people get a lot of upvotes they suddenly act as if they’ve become famous or something and feel the need to thank their supporters. Reddit gives you an option to directly message your awarder, which they’re much more likely to see and appreciate than an edit onto a comment/post. Seems a bit narcissistic to me in a “I want everyone to see how thankful I am” way. I’ve never understood why people stack on edit upon edit unless it directly adds onto the original content, because it seems tacky to me and completely interrupts the flow of the thread.

Most of us have been in the spotlight with awards or upvotes at some point and I know it can feel emotional. But imho, adding on paragraphs to an originally two word comment is a bit cringe. We’ve all been cringe at some point or another though, just gotta learn from it and move on.
