The difference is that she tried to rob a store, not a home. No I'm not defending her, seeing people try something like that makes me mad, because it's selfish, unethical, it's bad for our society, very disrespectful, can create general trustishues and suspision etc.. But it's not even close to being the same as stealing from a person. You probably get mad when you get your shit stolen because you actually loose something. The rich company who owns the store isn't loosing anything. The pants cost a fraction to make compared to what it costs. A store isn't meant to sell out all their stuff, I mean just look at all the pants in the background.

Now, they got her, she isn't resisting or anything. She is obviously shamed, and it will get further consequences once the police arrives. That is her punishment, those ladies have no right to harm her.
