Tumour in my Appendix

Think of your appendix as a finger that juts out from your intestines. The Meso-appendix is the part of the appendix that connects it to the small intestine, like where your finger attaches to your hand. A tear or rupture there can be nothing more than just that, a spot where it attaches to the appendix has cracked or torn away. If they are not talking about hemorrhages there (and they would tell you if they were - there is an artery there) you do not have to worry. Did they remove the appendix? It's a pretty simple surgery, and they don't even keep you overnight in the hospital anymore. Sounds like they just want to keep an eye on you, and that's a good thing.

Try to take news like this as it comes, just one step at a time without thinking of the "what if's" - because the what if's will cause you a lot of sleepless nights. At this point, if they are telling you they aren't going to do surgery, aren't going to do treatment, and only going to scan every 5 years, it's good.
