(USA) Which degree is the best? Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, or Anthropology?

well, my favorite out of that list would definitely be psychology. it seems most fascinating to me and would have a variety of ways that i could use it (research, medicine, advertising, etc). i really just love everything about learning about the human brain.

i would be tempted to choose philosophy because it might have the possibility of being more lucrative as long as i took some advanced math with it as well. i think philosophy is fun but would probably not enjoy it as a rigorous academic subject. because it could potentially border on a STEM degree, it could potentially get really dreary and life-draining. but, again, that's what makes it potentially lucrative.

anthropology would probably be my second favorite subject to study. i don't know anyone who has gotten to use an anthropology degree for their career, but maybe i just don't know the right people. however, in college, i took an art history class, and that definitely was one of my favorite and most fascinating classes. so i think i would love learning about anthropology but wouldn't really expect a job from it.

sociology would be interesting, but i'm not as interested in sociology. also, i think it would be hard to get a job. so this might be my last choice. i think you can do cool things with sociology if you combine it with other fields of study, so i think you would need to be a creative person to make a career out of sociology. however, again, i might just not know the right people. perhaps other people with sociology degrees have figured out how to make it into a career. on the other hand, probably sociology would give endless research topics if i was 100% sure that i wanted to stay in academia.

those are my preferences.
