So, I am Russian and I am offended clap clap.

Firstly, I want to say that I like the parts of the game not connected with the actual plot. I watched the campaign on Twitch, but I played the beta myself and the gunplay feels incredible and I like the fast TTK. The graphics are insane and the night operations look almost real. The house clearing mission is probably in my top 5 shooter missions ever.

Despite that, I was shocked to learn how Russians are portrayed in this. I don't know how generals work in USA, but just one random renegade general like Barkov can't have this much power in Russia. He invaded the country and occupied it for 20 years, ordered his troops to commit severe crimes. This means people of this Russia know about this and are actually kinda OK with this, which would be so untrue in the real world. Not just the normal people would be against it, but I don't believe that there would be no army people against it.

The developers promised us the "grey morale" but what we get? A large chunk of Russian army (I think invading a country takes many many people) were OK with murdering innocents, a large chunk of Russians were OK with invading other country. If we were promised grey morale it means people on our side shouldn't be so great either, right? But that we have is 2 soldiers (Kyle and Price) using family to take information from the terrorist. Pretty weak grey morale if you ask me.

I know that you can't make a military shooter without offending anybody. But at least Russians in MW2 were justified, and here... Many people think bad about Russians. Sure, our government is terrible, but younger generation (like me) don't believe in it. I want to live in peace with everybody, to be friends with the whole world. I want people to know that normal Russian is just as good and kind as everybody else.

P. S: I couldn't contain my emotions and English is obviously not my first language, so I probably made like 126 mistakes. Sorry for that.
