Yeah that's not a fun experience. If it's veteran players with trash builds they are just lazy and want a carry, but if it's a new player trying to learn, that makes it harder.

Part of the advice people love to give is "just start your own group", however that person may not have knowledge either. There's a lot of people who seek knowledge on their own (such as builds), but others who just go in blind and do what they want, or just don't have the knowledge with no initiative to learn on their own, and some people are just followers and want to be told what to do. It's harder to find a good leader with the knowledge these days who want to teach.

Sometimes I like to help with a learning party, but if I have no time or patience I'll just find title only groups with gatekeeping outside of my static.
