So just had an annoying party finder experience that is probably petty but I guess gonna ask what people think on it. Kungelanium, so usual items people carry are flare, 2 pheros, corrosive. I'm player 4 in it, nobody calls items so I go with the "korean meta" and carry corro. Player 1 flares, but when we get there player 3 and I both corrosive. So now we're down to maybe player 1 and 2 having pheros. We break armor, and no phero comes out. Player 2 and I both flare at the same time, but his is a split second faster. Ok, whatever. Phase 2, we beat it up and does its mechanic to go to freeze spots, and then player 2 casually mentions "oops I have no pheros". Whatever. We both wind up flaring at the same time again, and then he casually goes "Too slow two times my dear" bitching at me. I reply about him not having the item he's supposed to which he even admitted earlier, of which he and another player both tell me that I should go party finder if I want to "korean meta".

Isn't the whole point of the "meta" is to save items and make it easier if nobody calls items? If someone calls an item then I'll switch sure, but absent information how the hell would anyone know what to carry if you don't follow the "meta". Otherwise we just get stupid messes like we did where we have people wasting items. And I guess I'm just a bit triggered that he had the nerve to bitch about me being "slow" on flaring by a literal split second.
