I hear you. But thus is why a lot of people loathe vegans, many of them are really self righteous and love to lecture people about how eating animal products is wrong. Which makes them really annoying to be around.

I can't stand people with extreme views (left or right), they usually think they're right about everything and everyone else is wrong. They're usually not interested in having rational debates.

Yes, I'm an omnivore but I get why people go vegan, vegetarian, peacetaruan, flexitiraian or whatever.

My point is that if you say to many a vegan that you've decided to go flextarian or stop eating red meat, there's a fair chance they'll say it's not good enough and that you're still an animal abuser. That's not how you get people on your side.
