A venn diagram I made to visualize the characteristics of heavily disliked/controversial presidents

Ford swept the recklessness and disintegrity of the previous administration completely under the rug, Coolidge sat back and allowed the economic bubble of the 1920s to eventually burst into the Great depression then left the mess to his successor, Grant though having a track record as being honest and moral continuously tried to defend his scandal-riddled cabinet, and Wilson despite having some awful ideologies did break up the monopolies and lead the US through WWI, so I can't really dock him as being "incompetent", though his track record on segregation will always be there.

Admittedly you could go back and forth on many of these presidents' accomplishments (except Harding), but Trump, by contrast, has no alibis in any of these categories. His entire cabinet was comprised of a revolving door of borderline criminals, he gutted regulations, severed international trade, exacerbated wealth inequality, nearly destabilized the middle east, completely botched the coronavirus epidemic and completely ignored the subject of racial affairs to the point of it blowing up all over the country. The insurgency to try and overthrow the election results is just the cherry on top. He is, without question, the worst president in the history of this country.
