Viking gardens housing apartments

I've lived there for a year and a half. It's the closest you can get to a studio without getting a studio. I'm good friends with the management (people don't know how to be friendly in the PNW) and killing people with kindness is definitely how to get what you want. I have a massive room that looks like an Ikea commercial which has a sink and a massive closet. Share a shower room with roommate which has two doors into it so I literally go weeks without seeing her.

I pay around 400 which covers everything except laundry, which is quarter operated. Internet is not spiffy, but I do the 90s thing of just directly linking to phone jack with ethernet cable and it's free and on par with what you can get with the PTSD and fees of dealing with something like comcast.

It's great if you really need time away from people. Living with groups of girls after growing up as a self-sufficient latchkey kid in a super straightforward family was hellish. It's like being trapped in an estrogen-fueled Dr. Phil episode. I mean, if you're a creative writing major and looking for material, go for it.

TL/DR: Cheap isolated stress-free living. Great if you have a demanding major. Management is fine if you don't go into it with an us-vs-them mentality. Don't be a dick like my roommate by filling out a maintenance request form to have a light bulb changed. Adulthood.

If you're into social living, definitely don't. My boyfriend stays the night with me regularly, so it's not like a holding cell or anything. During the application process, portray yourself as overly straight-edge. You don't smoke, nor have you ever. I definitely put med school as an aspiration, but would rather face a firing squad than face those fees and impending malpractice suits.

If you have any other question, just ask. Most college kids out-compete the entirety of early 20th century socialism in detailing their hardships and plights dealing with landlords and whatnot. Take it with a grain of salt.

It's totally five in the morning on a road trip and I'm trying to stay awake for the driver, forgive my tangents and transparency. We're on the 17th play of Wagon Wheel already, and if we were east of the mountains this is when I'd tune into bible radio for comedy material, but playlist duties it is.

Good luck! Stress free living situations makes life three thousand percent more doable, so I hope you find one. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
