If California has one of the highest income tax rates in the country but one of the lowest property tax rates...aren't they essentially punishing productivity while rewarding non-productive property ownership?

Figured that's what they are taxing us so incredibly high for. We have paid significantly more income tax last year than a good dozen of the central valley families. Don't get me wrong, I'm more or less okay with the tax rate. but then asking us to take on another $15b to pay for school remodeling? C'mon man. I'm also against prop13 and for density, but that doesn't mater, government voting records show clearly. And the problem is that instead of fighting openly against prop13, they just ask for more loans and debt. So it will be somebody else's problem down the road. Unfortunately that's also my family.

Once again, punishing me for having multiple companies, for working our butts off.. Not immediately, but when California pension and debt issues catch up, we will be paying yet again.
