Visceral's Star Wars Game (From the Creative Director of Uncharted 1-3) Confirmed for 2018 Release

Yes, it actually does.

Actually it doesn't.

You seemed to have cherry picked examples that supported your argument, so I will cherry pick too.

I picked examples that are generally supported by a general consensus. The reviews support what I've said about those examples.

Dark Souls 2 had a completely different director than all of the other Souls game, and while I still kinda liked it, it was a major disappointment to me compared to Demon's and Dark Souls 1. I don't care for the game that much anymore. Same thing goes for Infinity Ward and Call of Duty, actually. I know a lot of people who hated MW3 and Ghosts, and that Infinity Ward as we know is completely different than the one who made MW2.

But is what you're saying the general consensus? Yes it's your opinion but is it opinion that is generally shared across the board and not limited to the people you know?

Now let's go back to Dead Space because it seems many of the readers in this thread are down vote happy and don't seem to understand what is being conveyed. The series (I'm talking the three main titles not Extraction, Ignition, etc) have had three different creative directors. Did that detract from the overall spirit of the game? No. Did 3 have questionable design choices? Yes, but, overall, the game was still a "Visceral" game even though it had a different director. So, what I'm saying is the company culture, a term many here probably aren't familiar with because they don't run/operate a business or aren't in a position of management, is more important than the workers that actually comprise the company. When you have a change in company culture things go to shit real quick. And I'm not saying the workers aren't important, they are, I'm saying that when the company culture is compromised you really start seeing things go to shit. Knowing this to be true, based on Visceral's track record, even though they've had different teams working on different games, we should still be fine.
