Vizio 58" 4K D58u-D3 for $680

No, although you could try closer stores first, some have found them in the back. Try to be persistent. Check the Walmart link If you can order online that would be fastest. Even if you change your mind and cancel later, order now if you can. I told one other guy about this sale and it went out of stock while he was checking out. Good luck.

Have to understand this advice is given by "enthusiasts". They lose sight of the fact that a TV that looks good now will still look fine in 5 years. You obviously aren't the upgrade type, so 4K blurays and HDR and all the new tech really doesn't matter.

About the TV.. As for the TV, it normally sells for 1199. It's 4k, has all the 2.0 stuff everyone says you need but probably won't. It is rated very highly against TVs that cost much more:

It's a god deal at $1000, but if you can snag one for your budget.. well, you can;t do better right now. Bill is a notorious Vizio hater, and sometimes repeats erroneous info. So he spends a lot of time criticizing TVs he doesn't own. Here's a very detailed thread about the m series...by people who actually use it.

I have the following vizios: 1 E24 4 years 2 32" 7 years 1 M40 $179 5 years 1 E40 $329 1 year (great picture) 1 P50 $399 4K (main TV) 1 year 1 M60 $699 4 days old I've tried Samsungs (hated the UI) and had sony's (32" died in 2 years, 50" caught fire). The only problem with Vizios is one of the 32" has a faint line, the others are perfect. if you have concerns about Vizio reliability... consider an extended warranty. At the price I got these, I'm so far ahead I can replace if one dies.
