First of all, THCA converts to D9 THC when heated. What you have here is 26% THCA.
The problem is that you think you can just waltz in and buy what you think is gonna be good, but you're not shopping cannabis the right way. Regardless if you "took a class".
If you knew any better, you wouldn't have walked out of the shop with 6 month old flower.
That's entirely your fault.

This guy doesn't seem to be having any issues acquiring fresh flower.

Pay more attention to harvest dates.
