Weed vs Alcohol.

Sounds like pancreatitis. But Jesus dude, no offense, but that doesn't even sound that bad compared to people I know, and what I've done some(not a humble brag, my brain has deteriorated some, I believe).

When I was 17 I'd come home and drink 151, and play rock band drums until I passed out. During these years my friend had an adult sister and her boyfriend who would entertain us and give us shots all night. Freshman year of college I was drinking everclear some nights, and drinking 3-4 nights a week. Then I continued to drink beer every day for a couple of years. Since then I still have frequent binge drinking episodes, usually around 10 beers. I'd do this for a couple days in a row, maybe every week or so, with some good periods of 6 months where I was functioning. The problem is, relative to my friends, that isn't even that bad.

I had a friend who was drinking a 1/5 of 1/6 of hard liquor everyday for years(3-4). I haven't seen him as much lately, but he's still doing that every couple days, with his "off days" being a few shots. My other friends drink vodka every day, for years WHILE on anti-depressants and other medications. One of them, his own father has cirrhosis and he continues.

Thanks though, this has been a good wake up call. I have depression and a lot of anxiety, so I'm coming around to the fact I'll just have to give up a lot of socializing, honestly.
