Although my job is getting better since I last posted, I absolutely despise two things when driving in the inaka: cyclists intentionally riding along narrow roads (shouldn't surprise me, I know) and the obaachans on scooters. I drive every day, and although I have been in Japan for about a month, I have lost track of how many cyclists have blocked the one-direction roads here as they take their sweet time riding along. I am also losing my patience with the obaachans on their scooters just veering off into a random direction out here, sometimes against ongoing traffic. I can't be too angry because I know these people are probably someone's grandparents or family members, but I won't lie - If they just took a few seconds to pull over for cars to pass, I would really appreciate it lol
