Weekly Questions Thread for the week of September 18th

Posted this as a text post as well, since I figured it would help better the community and didn't necessarily reflect only helping my individual interests. but wanted to ask it here, too, just in case the post does not get seen:

Where can you find older Shinedown albums that aren't $300-$500? What makes these ones so limited? Are they just no longer in production? And how do I ensure I get (current) records that will be valuable in the future?

So searching around trying to find some Shinedown vinyls and I was shocked to see many of them going for $300s, some even in the $600 range (leave a whisper, sound of madness, and us and them).

So my question is not only, is there some way to find the album for a better price (other than ebay, amazon, or getting lucky at a garage sale), and also, what makes certain ones more expensive? Are they not going to rerelease the vinyl at any point?

And how can I look for 'limited' and what could possibly be rare albums that are available today?

Thank you!
