Yes. Definitely. This is a very individual based question and a reason I'm not on the debate team. Although sometimes, I like to debate. I think it really applies from person to person, and circumstances to circumstances. However, if I were a mod myself, and I see all these commotion, my job I think as a mod first and Foremost would be to have a peaceful forum. Again, you are asking for my own opinion. I'm sure there are people who disagree and argue that it is for change , like for revolutions and such which is true.

Again, I am not the mod of the sub but if if it were me and just personally again, I prefer PM issues that can causes a lot of arguing back and forth.

As for you 2nd Q, I think that's for the Mod to decide. It's not always a democracy and doesn't always need to be. My take on it- again very personal: is for people to come here to be 3E: enlighten, entertain and educate about AB. So I don't mind the humor and the fluff - that's the entertain part. Again, there are some highly opinionated people on this sub. It is not always easy to please everyone.

My opinions are very different so I hope I don't get caught in the crossfire and get make fun of and downvoted again because that is something I don't want but I still want to answer you truthfully.
