I (21F) had been talking to this really amazing guy (25M) for about three months. We texted on a daily basis, and our conversations were singular, very unlikely anything I have ever had before. Our political views were not the same, neither were our main values, but we liked each other very much and respected our differences. We knew from the beginning that our relationship wasn't meant to last and we were okay with that too. I think we just enjoyed each other too much to care about the long run. The thing is, even me knowing that we would feel the need to stop talking at some point, now that it happened I am feeling really sad. I'm not looking for advices, I am just... I don't know, melancholic.
