What Apple gives you for $100 as a Safari Extension Developer — and why Reddit Enhancement Suite may cease support for Safari

This is just Apple's method of operation.

#1 Apple software developers for Apple devices (PC, phone, pad, etc)
* MUST use xcode using IOS (so you need to own Apple hardware) * $100/seat license per year

#2 Apple developer support is a fucking trainwreck. I've read documentation written by someone binging on modafinil without sleep for 4 days then what Apple provides devs. I lost a huge chunk of my life on Apple push notifications and their goddamn signed key crap; to get a Apple dev key working create a user key, co-sign that with your developer license, bind that to xcode, it doesn't work so delete your original user key, re-cosign with license, xcode doesn't accept it so delete user key, re-re-cosign, xcode accepts it, push to device stonewalls. Delete, co-sign, fuck this job I quit.

I have this deep set suspicion that the independent developers that use xcode and Apple's web portal and say it's great are suffering some serious case of stockholm syndrome or perhaps imposter syndrome (everyone else gets it so just pretend I do to, tow the line, be a shoe!)

I was really angry when I switched over to start doing Android development and had a real debug log, direct device access, and none of that key shit. Relevant
