Act 1 Tuesday morning
Set up a bit of a friendship between Peter and his roommate, Johnny storm, and how they are both short on money. Johnny proposes Peter work as a photographer for the bugle Bugle. Maybe how Reed Richards is paying for Johnny’s accommodation while he is building the Baxter building which in turn is paying for their joint apartment.
Peter starts his new school life He’s very isolated in school and has no friends A popular kid called Harry says “There’s a party after school on Saturday if you want to come?” Peter says no and tries to leave, Harry says “well, if you change your mind, here’s the address” Peter reluctantly takes it I think it would be funny to have Flash Thompson dropped out of MIT there aswell.
Spider-man starts tackling crime but can’t win, any crime he stops just leads to another. Spider-man catches black cat stealing from ___ and is about to catch her when a siren goes off and all the guards rush in, he decides to chase after the black cat instead of explain to the guards it wasn’t him. He shouts to them as he swings away “____”. He chases black cat through the city with her using a grappling hook to ‘swing’ around. He follows her into this building being stealthy, he crawls into the vents and watches through the gaps, black cat asks kingpin Bc : is this enough? Kp : enough for what? Bc : for you to let me go. Kp : you can leave right now if you want to… Bc : starts walking Kp : if you want me to leak you and your connection to the original black cat to the press. She stops. Turns around and glares hopelessly at him Kp : that’s right, I know all about your little your little family business. So don’t even think about betraying me. Bc : leaves with quite a bit of anger Spider-Man jumps down from the vent to confront kingpin, he gets overpowered easily by kingpin and kingpin stands of his chest, Kp: I knew it was only a matter of time until you showed up. Some more dialogue about how kingpin is controlling crime in the city. Kingpin explains how Peter can never beat everyone, all he needs is a villain for his muscle while his minions commit the real crimes. Peter asks why he is doing it, Kingpin exclaims there is a gang war brewing and he is up against a gang with a leader called the rose. Maybe he could offer Spider-Man to work for him and give him time to think about it.
A fully costumed shocker fights Spider-man with the mysterious rose coming to help him. Spider-Man looks like he’s about to lose before the rose steps in. Peter insists he doesn’t need help and an unmasked Rose dismisses him, Peter asks his name and he replies “it doesn’t matter” while wiping his mouth of blood and spitting whilst walking away. Whilst this is happening, the minions are stealing guns and grenades from a container yard on the other side of nyc.
Act 2 Wednesday
Doctor ___ is peter’s biology teacher. This teacher asks Peter to stay behind and asks about his missing homework, he seems unaffected and has to lie about why he missed it he uses the name in this dialogue
He goes to the bugle and meets Robbie Robertson who is the boss of the photography department. He is told to take some pictures and submit them to this email address and they’ll be in touch.
Now the shocker is defeated and the Kingpin is preparing to make a move on this new gang, Peter has an emotional scene with Johnny Storm, his roommate, about his homework until the conversation leads to Peter and his change in attitude. He goes on to explain the loss of his aunt, his friends and how he doesn’t feel appreciated “every one I get close to… I lose them”. (I invision Peter sat on the edge of his bed holding the Lego figure from Ned) He leaves with red eyes (tears) and sternly exclaims he has to go.
He swings through the city trying to clear his head on his way to the same place Kingpin beat him the day before and sees lots of newspapers and a pin board of things connecting the rose.
Cut to a slightly unhinged Spider-man using his ‘great power’ a little too much, beating up a group Fisk minions in a fake construction yard, he is interrogating a huge minion who is known as the rhino as to where Fisk is because he wasn’t where he was the previous day. He gets a location and zips away after knocking the guy out with a hard punch.
Act 3
In a final confrontation there is a scene where the rose and Spider-Man have backed Kingpin into a corner, Spider-man gets trapped under a falling pillar and watches as the scene unfolds.
The rose unmasks himself and a defeated kingpin wimpers the word “richard?” (In the comics richard is kingpin’s son) Richard (The rose) is holding a gun explaining how he faked his death and how he lost everything because of his father. (“YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME” almost like the riddler scene in The Batman)
Helicopters with lights flashing around this whole scene
In a dramatic turn of events, A woman’s voice is heard from behind him “i’m sorry my son” And as he turns he gets shot in the head with Vanessa’s crying face shown as the body falls, In a last ditch effort, Peter tries to lift the pillar off him reflecting homecoming, Kingpin limps over to Spider-Man and lifts the pillar off him with little difficulty, he punched Spider-Man in the face 3 times shouting things like “YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN, YOU KILLED HIM” in denial, Vanessa is trying to shake his shoulders getting him to stop when the human torch comes in at the end and flies Spider-Man away.
Credit scenes
End credit scene is Peter waking up on his bed with bandages on his head and face, with the human torch washing his hands in the sink or something, he turns around and reveals himself to be Spider-man’s roommate, Johnny Storm. Peter whimpers “how did… how did you know?”.. to which Johnny replied with “you should be more careful where you leave your mask” with a cheeky smile
The post credits scene should be him at the party trying to make friends with Harry when the police arrive insisting it’s an underage party, they ask for Harry’s name as it is his house, he says it’s his dad’s house and it’s only those two who live there, they ask for his name again and he replies with
“My name’s Harry, Harry Osborn”
