Women are always believed by police, especially in Wisconsin. Had an ex who claimed I stole money by opening a credit card. I have texts about the conversation, because she needed help with her credit.

Months later the credit card got out of hand, for her, and she called the police and told them I opened it without her knowing.

I was never questioned by police, never a chance to provide evidence or a statement. Was charged with a felony and it took two years to fight. Ultimately took a plea deal much, much less trouble because going to trial seemed like an impossible feat to win.

I was just helping her after she asked for help...
