Scorpio Venus, oof. That’s my placement and I know it all too well. I suppose I do tend to stare and do my research. I could go on for days about Scorpio Venus. It’s a difficult placement when feelings aren’t entirely mutual. When I’m with the person I’m interested in, it feels so good to be around them. But being apart or feeling like that interest isn’t reciprocated sucks so much. I’ve met a bunch of other Scorpio Venuses and I can tell those feelings are intense. My ex was a Scorpio Venus too. There were so many things I liked about him, but I suppose there was something missing physically/sexually, so I feel like I probably didn’t attach or obsess as much as I would if it were there. He did have a Leo Mars that squared my Venus, so maybe that has something to do with it. Although I felt like he was very much attracted/obsessed with me, and I could tell it made him very insecure if I wasn’t always as reciprocating in affection. I felt bad. We never really had any fights or major problems, but it was missing stuff. There’s also someone I met recently who’s sort of like a mentor to me. It’s just interesting we have some similar placements, and I relate to him a lot although he’s definitely an even more outgoing and extroverted Sagittarius Sun. Before I looked at his chart, he told me (in the most matter of fact and dry way) about the overwhelming hate he had in his heart for someone who was already dead and how he wished he were alive so he could die in a more painful and torturous way. And from that moment I knew he was my people as I think I have a similar hate for people (maybe less intense, I do have a Pisces Moon and he has a Scorpio Moon) and sure enough I looked at his chart and he has a Scorpio Venus.
I do have a Sagittarius Mars. I feel like this may contradict a bit with my Scorpio Venus. I feel like it does make me want to be a bit more direct in my approach to people. And while I may want have one object of obsession, if that’s not locked in, I sometimes do pursue multiple people until something is more concrete.
On the topic of Venus and Mars, does anyone have experience with Gemini Mars? It’s a placement I’ve seen in a bunch of people I know (not all romantic), and I’m not seeing the common denominator.
