What are some useful features of everyday items that most people don't know about?

Youtube Related:

• uBlock: My personal ad-blocking client. WAY better than Adblock and Adblock Plus, as it is lighter on the computer and does the same job. • Auto Replay for Youtube: Self explanatory. There are probably many apps like this one, but it is very minimalistic and turns on and off without having to refresh the page. • Alientube: This extension now works for me, thanks to /u/razuliserm. Instead of having youtube comments, it shows reddit comments attached to the video (if there is a post about it). The issue is that Disconnect (another extension down below) blocks the connection to reddit. • Hide Fedora: Well, this app is anti-reddit. I use it to be anti-idiots-on-reddit. Because my Alientube doesn't work, I will have youtube comments when I get linked by a reddit post. By the time this post makes it to the front page, it will have its idiots. BY which I mean the idiots making a bad name for us. You know them. Those who go "I am commander of Le Reddit Army! Fedora Fedora /r/circlejerk Fedora!" This extension hides every comment made by someone with a fedora in their picture and everything you flag as fedora.

Reddit Related:

• Alientube: See above • Reddit Enhancement Suite: Basically reddit Gold for free RES dev /u/allthefoxes told me that the extension actually does not have any gold features, I guess that's what happens when you trust your friend as a source. Anyway, it has a butt ton of features, such as infinite scrolling. Love it and a must have! • Imagus: A very cool extension that basically iframes every photo link you see when you hover over the link. Great for browsing image link subreddits, as you do not need to load up new pages. • The Squire: I am a loyal Knight of Button! This is an extension that tracks the button click on /r/thebutton and alerts everybody if the timer gets too low. Never shall the button be over! Edit: I was wrong!

Google / Education Related:

• Chrome Remote Desktop: Allows me to control my computer from a different computer or phone and vice-versa! • Evernote Web Clipper: I can copy the HTML of any website and display it in an Evernote note with a simple click of a button. • Google Forms: Create Online Forms • Hangouts: A desktop app that allows me to see my hangouts chat on my computer as a separate app, but downloaded through Google Chrome. • Application Launcher for Drive (Link not found for this, the link is just one to the regular drive): I am pretty sure this auto-downloaded by Google, as I have no idea what this is. The description says "Open Drive files directly from your browser in compatible applications installed on your computer."

Style Related:

• Stylish: Basically a platform for people to submit styles onto their website, and after installing said style, it basically swaps out the stylesheet for a website. I can, for example, make my Google Docs a mahogany desk instead of a grey background. • Wikiwand - An extension that redirects ALL Wikipedia links to Wikiwand's own website, which is basically just a stylesheet change to make the information look better and faster. Plus, your teachers won't know you are on Wikipedia.

Security Related:

• LastPass: I use Last Pass daily. Well, every 45 minutes, because I get auto-logged out every 45 minutes. It is a website that is basically a password vault, with ultra-high encryption. All protected by your one master password. The extension makes it so that it can auto-fill and auto-save passwords. • Disconnect (was unable to find a link for this one, is instead this service, Ghostery, which people are saying works like Disconnect but is actually available.): A tool that blocks the connection of tracking websites like Google Analytics and some social medias. Certain websites can be disabled. This extension seems to be dead, but I still have it. • Greenhouse: This is more of a personal security. This extension finds the name of every senator/congressman, and makes it a link to their campaign "donations". Great for figuring out who is bribing your representative! • Lockify: Basically a secret spreader, but secretly. Uses expiring links that can only be used once to convey messages. • LongURL: You know those pesky shortened URLs that give you screamers? Well, say goodbye! This extension extends every URL you see, and for youtube links, makes it the title of the video.

Other:

• nCage: Replaces every image with a picture of the one and only Cage. I don't have this enabled, but great for emergency trolling. • Lounge Destroyer: If you are a CS:GO or Dota 2 Lounge better/trader, then you want this. This extension shows the market price for every item, and it also allows for auto betting and trade offer accepting. • Easy Auto-Refresh: Self-Explanatory. Great if waiting in queues. • cookies.txt: An extension that takes your cookies of the website you are currently on and creates a txt file out of them. Great for web devs.
