I don't think Pep is close enough to these things as to think about bringing players through during season run-ins. Generally it'll be pre-season he'll have a look at all the youth players and see who he likes, or it'll get recommended to him by the youth coaches that certain players are ready/ahead of schedule I think.

At the end of the season, when we go around for pre-season Shea will probably get a look in during some of the friendlies, and we will see how Pep likes him there.

As for the player himself I haven't seen him play much unfortunately. But everything I've heard is very positive and he's been linked with some very estute clubs which is a good sign.

One problem is if we will have the space for him. Rodri is the obvious starter, Perrone might play further forwards but could be new competition and I wouldn't be surprised if we try and bring Lavia back, which would be direct equally young competition that's already played in a premier league side.

I dunno, normally if a player is good enough I feel like we would be hearing about them much more, as we did with Lavia, McAtee etc. But we will see. Would be really nice to see him come through and show a level of competence that Lavia has.
