He's my choice for the DM role in the summer. I don't particularly like this analysis though, it's just a bit wishy washy. Starts of saying he's a fantastic young prospect and ends saying he's decent.

That aside I think he's fantastic, he has that speed and tenacity to do the defensive side of the role well and the height that people were worried about when Fred was the target.

His press resistance and dribbling are the skills that make him stand out for me though, he can collect the ball from the back, beat a midfielder or two and that will leave KDB and Merlin in that space behind the midfield but in front of the defence that playmakers thrive in.

The box-to-box role doesn't matter, the only midfielder we're linked with who's a genuine pivot is Weigl and he's so fragile as well as being out of form for a long time. There's a reason the Barcelona links have dried up. Ferna was a box to box up until Pep's arrival and he's turned into a beast despite being 31 at the time, imagine what he could do with a 21 year old.
