In my setting's 12th and 13th centuries, a movement began in the Duetism [Leone: from Deutesme, Duet God + -esme -ism suffix] religion known as Adfenésme [Leone: adfene advent + -esme -ism suffix]. Initially a secluded movement with a message of reformation, Adfenésme would soon acquire a set of radical ideals.

Adfenésme emerged out of a time period of attempted reformations across Deutism countries, most began in an attempt to remove extortion and nepotism from the religion's central church establishments. Members of the radical Adfenésme went one step farther; their goal was to remove the bulk majority of the authoritative classes of the Deutism churches.

The radical Adfenésme movement hit its height in the year 1266. In the years prior, a radical Adfenéme member known as Boris Hommel would lead riots agaist authoritative members of various Deutism religious establishments. A native of the country of Yver, he would migrate south across the countries of the Regeo Sea [Gatalian: regeo royal] in his self-proclaimed effort to enhance the Adfenéme movement. By the 1265, his efforts had brought Hommel to the Sovereignty of Leone [Leone: Ge Souvereigntie de Leone].

Additional Adfenéme movements had begun in Leone, which had several years already faced persecution. Meeting this persecution, Hommel's radicalization grew. He and his congregation, enlarged with the teachings of a Adfenéme radical named Georges Conyeur, adopted the belief that an armed insurrection was the only method to ignite a rebellion against the Deutism authoritative classes.

In late 1266, Hommel and Conyeur would take with force the Leone city of Lambertsanct [Leone: sanct saint, named after Sanct Lambert] through force. The effort was coordinated by a third conspirator, Jon Manns of Lambertsanct. Lambertsanct, a city of approximately ten-thousand, was now the set piece it what would become a three year endeavor known historically as the Lambertsanct Trials or the Lambertsanct Rebellion.

That is an another story for another time, however.
