In what aspect people underestimate COVID-19?

That its just like the flu so its not too bad or that it only affects old people and not younger people so younger people dont need to worry about too much. Hence why younger people are ignoring quaratine/lockdown orders. The majority of those being hospitalized are young adults so if old person gets it they're screwed because their are no more beds in the hospital. In Italy now they are not even going to treat people 60+yo because of younger people have that mentality, get the virus and some need to be hospitalized. They have a higher chance of surviving. So now its triaging (determining who has the best chance of living/get treatment vs no chance and no treatement).
