Well Iran has pretty much always had monarchies I think. It's our heritage lol. And the idea of everyone being able to speak a single language and identifying as similar is probably more of a Euro idea, but I think it makes sense. Being open minded and willing to adapt ideas has always been an Iranian thing... actually I think even the ancient Greeks mentioned something like "There is no people who are so willing to adapt and make things their own as the Persians".

Iran has too many people and purging some of the hopeless people wouldn't be so bad. If certain groups don't want to integrate, maybe they can just go their own way. Iran has plenty of land and resources, it just needs to be able to sell and develop the country...
