What big thing is society so embarrassed about that we must pretend it doesnt exist?

I'm not trying to strawman anything, I'm just providing a counter example. My beliefs tend to lean very socialist, so I think about it a lot. I'm also a very big fan of anime and entertainment in general so I always wonder what the solution is to things in that industry.

If you think about an animated movie you've gotta wonder what leads to it's financial success. You need like minimum 200 animators to fully animate a 24 minute episode. Then you've got directors, writers, script writers, actors, advertisers, and of course, the people who paid for it to be produced. On one hand you've got hundreds of people who produced 90% of the labor. On the other hand, you've got the creative team that created the ideas that allow a movie to be a success. In addition to that you've got the company that made it, and you've got the people who gave their money to produce a series.

A company needs money to ensure it's survival, producers need to profit from their investments, and workers need to be able to live a happy life. When you have a massive hit, how should the money be broken up? Do producers take the majority of their money because they provided money initially? Do the workers get a ton of money because they produced the majority of the labor? Do the creative workers get money because the movie wouldn't have been a hit without them?

I only gave such a scenario because it's what I'm used to, and wondered what someone else thought a solution would be.

Okay, I don't really understand what your first point is supposed to be saying. I agree with points two and three completely. As for number four, do you think it's ethical for a movie production company to cover the needs of their workers and pay them an acceptable salary while the majority of the profits still go to the 1%?
