What company has forever lost your business?

I don't care what other manufacturers do. I'm talking about Apple and designed obsolescence. I'm talking about apps and software that don't run on older hardware, and can't even be installed. I'm talking about changing your connection cable to force customers to buy adapters.

Or how about their amazing design, that is totally ruined by having shitty components under the hood. The last three Apple products I had: 1 died from mainboard failure due to cheap capacitors. 1 laptop died from mainboard failure. 1 iPod died from not being able to charge. The reason they gave? Mainboard failure. Maybe they use cheap parts for a reason... Like designed to fail after the warranty period is over.

After a few years, Apple laptops just start dying a slow death. Every one I've seen. I have older windows laptops that still run fine. Why is that?

Apple sucks, I learned the hard way after jumping in head first. Now I'm out... I don't do Apple products at all. Never again.

So, exactly what everyone else is doing then. Try browsing the Play Store with an older Android device and have fun trying to find something that'll run. Hell, I have a Nexus 5 and even I get the "incompatible with your device" bullshit sometimes.

Huh? Apple had been using the Dock connector for as long as iPods had been around until they changed it for a much improved one. All other devices went from square-ish USB to mini-USB to micro-USB and I don't see everyone shitting their pants over that.

You aren't a proper sample to get to any conclusions with that. I have an Acer laptop that I bought for $450 in 2009 and it runs like it's brand new. I have a Macbook from 2008 that also runs like new. I had a Toshiba laptop that went to shit after 6 months. I see a lot more old Macs than I do old PCs, there's shitty parts everywhere and on the whole I do believe Apple uses better quality parts than most other manufacturers.

Well, good for you. I don't currently use any Apple products because my requirements for devices go beyond what Apple chooses to design theirs for, but I don't go around bashing things for past mishaps that clearly aren't a general trend.
