What did a crush do that made you instantly lose interest in him/her?

Didn’t make me lose interest but kind of related. I had a crush on a girl I was good friends with for like 2 years got rejected like three times but she kept leading me on and being “friends” with me. Everyone kept pointing out to me dude shes a bitch and a fake friend and I was like no you just know her like I do. I don’t remember what she did but I finally got over her and looked back at all our messages and stuff that happened over the years. And I had a revelation that everyone was right and I’d been obsessed with this girl who was a complete fake bitch and to be honest she was kinda ugly but I just kept liking her.

And when I say kinda ugly I mean really ugly. Like sorta cute but not attractive. The first time my brother saw her the first thing he said was “you like her the one that acts like a bitch bruh she looks like a weasel”

So yeah I waisted like two years of middle/early highschool
