What is the dumbest rule your school ever had?

8th grade. Tore my ligament by jumping off a swing to impress girl I fancied (she ended up helping carry me to the nurses office). End up in cast for a few weeks.

My school did this thing where students who volunteered and teachers were quizzed on a few things in an assembly and whichever team got less points would be thrown in the pool by the other team. Students lost and we all went outside to see the teachers push the students in the pool. Everyone was really excited and they were all pushing etc and I was still on crutches with a cast on my leg. Someone shoved me forward and I ended up grabbing the person in front of me to regain my balance, and vice principal saw. She was a bitch and called me out saying I was shoving people when really I was just trying not to fall on my face. She pulled a few other people to the side including one of my friends who also wasn't pushing (btw said friend was literally born with one arm so he definitely wasn't pushing either lol). We don't get to see any of the students get pushed into the pool which was bad enough but then I was telling my friend that 'I was falling' and vice principal heard me and thought I had said 'that was fun' in relations to us pushing and was like 'you think pushing and endangering other students is fun, I am giving you a detention.' No negotiating with her.

Not really a rule but just reminded me and got me in a rage haha
