After 44 days of employment in a completely new industry (Machining) in a family owned business, the Vice President and my boss told me he didn’t think I was picking it up fast enough, and he didn’t think I was smart enough to really work it out.

My normal job is in IT, commonly as a Systems Administrator. I served in an Intel capacity in the Army for that job, and I think I did so capably.

I’m totally cool accepting criticism, you can even get away with giving me a hard time if I feel like it’s fair, but I’ll not be called stupid. Not for fucking anything. I had planned on quitting when I landed my next job, as I was already looking, but that did it. I tried to come back the next day, but the thought of staying in that shithole with that miserable bastard for 8 more hours was more than I could take at that time, so I walked in, told him I was done, signed his dumb fucking resignation letter and rolled out. Worthless pricks.
