What is the most annoying thing someone has done while you were watching a film in a theater?

2000, The Beach, I was 16. I got my ass kicked by a father and son wannabe cowboy duo.

My friend and I got there early and still needed to wait in line to be seated. We got decent seats, close to the middle, good view etc. The theater was filling up quick so there was no moving, really.

A woman in front of us was saving two seats, and I felt bad for her as she was practically fighting people to keep them away. There's nothing wrong with saving seats, the two people were simply out getting popcorn and shit like that.

Well the previews start, and in walk two grown men playing dress-up as cowboys. This is Northern VA, there are no cowboys. They had the hats, the boots, just total fucking posers.

They sit down and of course their hats block the view of me and my friend. I politely ask them (and I do mean mighty fucking polite) to take their hats off, and they laughed and the woman who was all agitated from everyone else bitching that she was saving seats turns around and tells me to sit back and shut the hell up.

So I said "you aren't even real cowboys" to which these two start punching me over and over. There are people yelling, but nobody's pulling them off. The woman keeps screaming "dad do it!" Then all three of them left the theater and I hear her mention "it's playing across the hall."

At that point the theater got quiet again as if nothing happened, meanwhile I'm pouring blood from my nose and eye socket, and I'm on the verge of passing out. These guys had big rings on, I was a small 16 year old.

It gets even shittier, a black guy tried to fight me as we were trying to exit the row because his bitch date wouldn't move out of the way enough for me to get by and I dripped blood on her! So we make it out to the lobby with this stupid fuck following me as if he's gonna fight me, and once we got into light and he saw how fucked up I was he straight up LAUGHED AT ME and went back into the theater.

So did the cops get called? Did the people get caught? Did the theater help me? NOPE! The theater offered me a free ticket, and the cops took so long to respond I ended up just going to the ER. I then got a call from the police department accusing me of filing a false report since I wasn't there. I explained I was at the ER and three hours after they had stitched the corner of my eye, and reset my nose, a young dipshit cop shows up to take my statement. Nothing else was done.
