What is the most cringeworthy thing you did to woo your crush?

Okay, I'm super late to the party and nobody is going to see this, but man do I have some cringe. When I was in school I'd go on walks through my neighborhood after I got home. These walks would be roughly two hours long and I'd always be listening to music and I'd lip sync along and sometimes dance a little, that's cringe all by itself. On one of these walks I ran into a girl from school, we became friends and sometimes I'd hang out with her. She introduced me to a friend of hers that was homeschooled. Instacrush. He was gay but I did not give a fuck and kept on crushing. He'd tease me and pretend to flirt with me and would join me on my walks or invite me to hang out at his house. My friend who introduced us started writing notes to me and I'd write back. All our notes were comics and were about how boring class was, what books or manga we were reading, but they were mostly about my crush on her friend. Looking back I'm pretty sure she laughed at them with him when she got home from school (mostly because after I got over the crush she told me they were all at his house). Anyway, so she drew me a comic asking what I'd do if he held my hand or kissed me. My reply comic was all cringe with hearts and blushy faces because I'd never really kissed anyone. A few days after I had replied I was on a walk and her and him are standing in her yard next to the road. She snickered and taunted that she'd let him read the note. In utter embarrassment and to hide my shame I ripped the note away and did the only logical thing available to me. I balled it up and ate it then laughed like an idiot. My stomach hurts thinking about all that cringe. There are other cringe stories surrounding that crush, but that one is the worst imo.
