my family and i went on vacation a few years ago to London and Paris. my dad is known to be a little ignorant when visiting other countries, we're from Canada. anyway, the trip was amazing, everyone was having a great time and it was our last day in Paris before we headed back home the next morning. we didn't know that it was France's national holiday (which one i can't remember, sorry) and we wanted to go see a palace of some sort. unfortunately, the train going there was not running and there was no access to see the palace as it was a holiday. we all understood except for my dad, who wanted to know exactly why the train wasn't running and how else we could get there. the woman working in the booth at the metro station was giving my dad kind of a hard time in his defense but he still shouldn't have acted the way he did. what happened was my dad started to get frustrated while speaking to the woman because of her thick french accent, so he started to be more aggressive when speaking to her thinking that she would understand him better..obviously not, and the french are touch people so she started to speak aggressively as well. they both were arguiing for awhile when my older brother and i took our dad aside and started making our way up the escalator. on our way up my dad is yelling at her, "fuck you! bitch! you're a bitch!" and making hand gestures as if he's jerking off and cumming at her..he's also throwing middle fingers up like there's no tomorrow, it was the longest escalator ride ever..the most embarassing part is that this was done with an almost full metro station because my dad was holding up the line while arguing with the one booth attendant. gotta love family vacations...
