I'd like to thank everyone who voted for Lelouch. It's about time we had a good winner of these contests. Lelouch truly deserved to win this contest, and the road wasn't easy. I've mentioned this in my past posts, but Lelouch isn't only Best Guy, he's a giant killer. Every single one of his matches were incredibly difficult, most of which being finals worthy. He was consistently placed in the most difficult pairings, and still managed to come out on top.

I really just can't believe that he managed to win, it's just incredible. As weird as it sounds to say this, Lelouch was the underdog of this contest. He was big, but he was always in the back of everyone's heads, and understandably so when a majority of the contest was filled with posts talking about Roy Mustang, Okabe, FMA;B, and Monogatari. But all of that changed when Lelouch beat Spike (more on that later).

In Code Geass, Lelouch constantly did the impossible. He's called the Man of Miracles for a reason. He starts as the underdog and overthrows the tyrants who ruled over this contest. He took out Araragi, crushed Roy Mustang, and completed the formerly impossible task of crushing Steins;Gates from these contests. He defeated Okabe. And to finish it all off, he pulled off the win against Kamina, who supposedly does the impossible. But sorry Kamina, even the Gods succumb to geass.

And the most important match of the entire contest was Spike Spiegel vs Lelouch, and a lot of Lelouch's victory is owed to Spike. So everyone who wanted Lelouch to win should thank all of the Cowboy Bebop fans and others who supported Lelouch. I've said this many times, but Spike Spiegel vs Lelouch would have been my perfect grand finals, and in some ways, it probably was, since I'm sure the winner would have moved on to win the whole thing.

Lelouch is an amazing character who destroys tyrants and crushes them. The road to victory was the toughest imaginable, but the Man of Miracles pulled it off.

Lelouch truly carried that weight. And he'll always carry that weight. Yes, Lelouch destroys best guys.... Spike Spiegel , Kamina , Okabe , Roy Mustang .... and create them... himself .
