Alright, here goes.

After college, I was really lonely for some time. Med school applications weren't coming through, I was stuck in my hometown, and I hadn't made intimate contact since New Year's. Each day ticked by the calendar as if constant reminder to me: Good Morning, Sharp! It has been Eight Months and Twenty Two days since you've gotten laid! I was hurting, Reddit.

Now I should mention I'm a religious man. So as a religious man in need, what did I do? I prayed. I prayed each day, once to near tears that god would send me someone, anyone, just to lift me from my loneliness. The calendar crept by as such... for a time.

With my friends moved away and bereft of social options, I was THRILLED to hear of a rafting trip that an outdoors group was holding. I mean, this is the first time I had been out of the house for fun in MONTHS- I SPRANG on the chance to sign up for it like an ambush out of the discovery channel... Only to hear back that the trip had already filled up, and that I was too late. Easy come, easy go I guess, right? I returned to my grief, disappointed and expecting nothing further.

Or so I thought!

At 11:00PM, the NIGHT before the trip, I get a phone call: someone had dropped out, and I was next on the waiting list to get in! What's more, they had already found someone driving in that direction, who was willing to pick me up. I couldn't tell them yes faster. 6AM, I was out the door and ready to go.

We get there, and I am invited to join the raft by a certain young lady. A young lady who I clicked with instantly, and have been with ever since.

TLDR: I swear, every time I doubt god's existence, I look at her and think OK, maybe someone helped me out there. (I may have Yada Yada'd the good part. I don't walk up to strangers or find the same frequency with girls that easily- that I had both stumble upon me is a practical miracle in itself)
